Are you a California driver in Nevada?

Watch out while driving!

Las Vegas Driving Crimes THREE OF THREE

Tailgating, or following too close, is one of the driving crimes in Las Vegas that results in the most accidents, property damage, and neck injuries. The rule of thumb to be safe is to allow one car lenghth's distance between you and the driver in front of you for every 10 miles per hour you are driving.  So, if you are going the maximum speed limit of 65 miles per hour, then you should be about 7 car lenghths behind the driver in front of you.

This gives you a chance to stop or change lanes if there is a drastic and immediate slow down ahead of you.  If you are one or two car lengths behind at such a high rate of speed, you someday will hurt someone badly--it could be a little baby you kill. Lawyers have all kinds of stories from experience with these issues.

If you get in accident and recieve a ticket for following too closely, do not dispair, that is what inexpensive traffic attorneys are for, to help you out of this jam.

Speaking of jams, violating the tailgating law and speeding create a lot of jams on our freeways which contributes to stress for all drivers and more accidents.  Be a force for good, be patient and be safe.

Call traffic lawyer if you need to get out of a traffic ticket jam.
